Duties and Responsibilities of Women's Ministry Council Members

Secretary

Clearly communicate to the women the events, ministries, and decisions of the Women's Ministry Council.

  1. Record actions taken at the Women's Ministry council and general meetings.
  2. Be responsible for correspondence with church staff contact.
  3. Oversee publications and distribution of The Women's Ministry Connections, The Switchboard, and other council approved newsletters.
  4. Be responsible for publicity for non-committee related Women's Ministry activities: for example, for Pres-Women's Ministry activities.
  5. Be available to assist committee members who need help with publicity for events.
  6. Oversee bulletin board and Women's Ministry table.
  7. In November, send name, address and e-mail address of the next year’s Women's Ministry president and names of next year’s Women's Ministry Council members to: 1700 North Brown Road, Suite 102, Lawrenceville, GA 30043 or the cooresponding website.
  8. Be responsible for Women's Ministry calendar being put on church calendar.
  9. Serve on the Women's Ministry budget committee.

 

Treasurer

Provide godly stewardship so that the women may encourage and equip one another in good deeds.

  1. Receive all money of the Women's Ministry.
  2. Handle all receipts for disbursement.
  3. At the request of the Women's Ministry Council, prepare a current financial report for monthly meetings.
  4. Serve as chairman of the budget committee of the Women's Ministry. As chairman, call a meeting of the budget committee in October to set a suggested budget for the upcoming year. Present the suggested budget to the Women's Ministry team at the November meeting. Submit the finalized budget requests to the CPC administration by December 1 for review and presentation to the session.
